Charge Like a Rhinoceros

CHARGE like a RHINOCEROS at your GOALS & DREAMS!!!!!

A good friend of mine recently gave me a book called, Rhinoceros Success. To say the least, the book has completely recharged me. My focus and work-ethic towards my goals is fueled by a renewed passion and level of commitment and I have been CHARGING MASSIVELY ever since.

Terrence Lowis is a great friend whom I respect tremendously. He is one of those people who always finds the energy to smile at you and lift you up with words of encouragement and laughter. He bounces around to visit all his clients (law firms) in downtown Cleveland and uplifts hundreds of people every day!

One day I was visiting his company, C-DOX, and on his office wall this large poster read the words, “I AM A CHARGING RHINOCEROS. I HAVE A DAMN-THE-TORPEDOES SPIRIT, I AM FULL OF ENERGY AND I CAN’T WAIT TO GET UP IN THE MORNING TO START CHARGING!” I thought to myself “what an odd thing to hang on the wall. There’s got to be some significant meaning behind this.” The following week, Terrence gave me the book, Rhinoceros Success by Scott Alexander.

At first glance, I thought it was quite silly, especially with a cartoon drawing of a rhinoceros on the cover, but I decided to skim a few pages. That night I took the book home and read over half of the book by midnight. The message the author was conveying immediately spoke to me and I started implementing the tactics that very moment. I couldn’t wait to start the next day as a CHARGING RHINOCEROS with a DAMN-THE-TORPEDOES SPIRIT! (You’ll have to read the book to really “get” it. Otherwise, all this rhinoceros talk just seems silly.)

Rhinoceros Success has reignited my life. Since I read the book about 4 weeks ago, I have had several conversations with the author, Scott Alexander (who wrote the book when he was 22). I have purchased 15 copies and given them out to friends, family, and new people I meet who need the inspiration to take their life to the next level. I even gave the book to 3 kids who love it! Cleveland, Ohio is turning into a rhinoceros breeding ground. Be careful when you visit, because we are charging around everywhere, so you better join us or get out of our way!

I know you just can’t wait to read the book, so we decided to have copies available for purchase at the Olympia in Las Vegas this coming week, Sept 27-29th. You can find TEAM RHINO at the Bodybuilding.com booth at the Olympia Expo in the Las Vegas Convention Center. I will do my best to be at the booth as often as possible between competition requirements. We also have “TEAM RHINO” shirts and wristbands available for purchase with 50% of the proceeds donated to the Green Goddess character for kids.

For the future, we are working on developing a “Rhino Wisdom” deck of cards with the best quotes from the book. Stay tuned to the valspace.com/blog to keep up with our launch of this cool project.
