One of the interesting realities of being a professional athlete is that people are always asking me for recommendations.
The conversation usually goes like this:
"I'm having trouble with "X" and I've tried some "Y" and I'm not getting the results that I'd like. It seems that you are getting good results… Is there something you could recommend to me?"
Whether it's someone I meet at my restaurant, working out, or in the many emails I receive every day… And when you are asked every day, day after day, you start to think about you answers carefully.
And, the truth of the matter is… I'm a good person to ask. My profession virtually "demands" that I find the most efficient ways to incorporate performance nutrition into my day. So I spend a lot of time and energy looking at everything. Experimenting, fine-tuning, improving. So, when I find something that I really get a lot from, I am glad to recommend it.
